Amber and Brandon's Love-Filled Wedding: A Last-Minute, Serendipitous Celebration

Sometimes, things don’t go as planned, but I truly believe everything happens for a reason. That was certainly the case with Amber and Brandon’s wedding. I got a call just days before their big day because their original photographer had canceled on them at the last minute, leaving them in a stressful bind. I can't imagine how disheartening that must have been, but I was beyond thrilled to step in and capture the magic of their wedding day.

From the moment I met Amber and Brandon, I could feel how much love surrounded them. The day began at the Cambria Hotel in West Orange, New Jersey, where Amber and her bridesmaids, along with her mom and other key women in her life, gathered for those intimate, getting-ready moments. Laughter, joy, and happy tears filled the room as everyone prepared for the celebration ahead.

From there, we made our way to Kips Castle Park in Verona for the ceremony. Let me tell you, a castle as the backdrop for their vows? It was breathtaking. The love between Amber and Brandon, set against the timeless beauty of the castle, created one of the most picturesque ceremonies I’ve ever photographed.

The day only got better from there as we headed to the Colombian Club in Union for the reception. The energy was unmatched—family and friends filled the room with so much joy, and the dance floor stayed packed all night. It was a reception bursting with incredible energy, laughter, and love.

While I wish Amber and Brandon hadn't had to go through the stress of losing their original photographer, I am so grateful that fate brought us together. It was truly a privilege to capture their wedding day, and I’m honored they trusted me to step in and document their once-in-a-lifetime moments.
